Operation Frontline is a national education program, administered locally, that fights childhood hunger by teaching families how to make healthy and budget-wise food choices.
With six different courses that target adults, teens and children, Operation Frontline takes a cooking-centered approach to nutrition education. Chefs and nutritionists volunteer to teach classes that feature hands-on meal preparation, basic nutrition, food safety, menu planning, food budgeting and healthy snacking.
Operation Frontline is scheduled to launch in southern New Jersey in the fall of 2008.
