Welcome to the Food Bank of South Jersey

Hunger has many causes. So it makes sense that there are many solutions as well.

At the Food Bank of South Jersey, we’ve been creating and implementing these solutions for over 25 years.

Our mission: To provide an immediate solution by distributing food to needy people, teaching them to eat nutritiously and helping them to find sustainable ways to improve their lives.

Through our more than 200 partner agencies as well as a diverse array of programs to reach special, at-risk populations, we work hard each and every day to feed the hungry in South Jersey.

Our partner agencies are many – ranging from major food and financial companies and sponsors to small houses of worship. And our special needs programs target children, families, senior citizens – all struggling to make ends meet and not feel the pain of hunger anymore.

We operate in South Jersey, feed South Jersey, and support South Jersey. When you donate to us, your dollars stay in South Jersey.  In fact, 91 cents out of every dollar directly fund our feeding programs. And that’s a promise we can back up with our Four Star Charity Navigator rating.

Our office is open from Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30. Individual food donations are accepted throughout the day, although we ask if you are bringing a large donation that you try to drop it off by 3:30.
