It’s an awful thing to be hungry. To know what that gnawing means…and to have no way of satisfying it.

Yet that feeling is shared by more than 100,000 people every year right here in South Jersey.

A third of them are children.

When we think about the hungry we don’t just think about numbers and statistics.

They are real people with real needs. They’re your neighbors, your friends and your children’s friends.

And through more than 200 partner agencies as well as a host of direct service programs, the Food Bank of South Jersey reaches out to these people each and every day.

That’s why we need your help.  And we need it in all sorts of ways.
